Your resource for questions about course registration, financial aid, and paying your bill. The One Stop is here to help you.

  • Chat with Us - Live chat Mon-Fri 8:30 am – 5 pm or any time you see the "Chat Now" widget in the corner of your screen.

  • Meet with Us - If you can't make it to campus, and live chat is not for you - you can schedule an appointment to zoom with The One Stop.

Announcements

  • Current Students should complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA by the priority date of June 1 to be considered for all financial aid (based on eligibility).
  • Financial Responsibility Agreement (FRA) Hold – The FRA must be accepted and completed by student via WISER prior to registering for Fall 2024.
  • Form 1098-T – The electronic version can be viewed and printed from your WISER on the Finance Center page under "Tax Info."
  • Summer 2024 Plan to Pay - It is important that you have a plan to pay, whether it is financial aid, a lump-sum payment, or enrolling in the 2-month payment plan. If you are planning to use financial aid for Summer 2024, please contact The One Stop to obtain an estimate of how much you may be eligible to receive.

What We Do

The One Stop is a student services center staffed with a team of professionals who represent three essential offices: Financial Aid Services, the Registrar’s Office, and the Bursar’s Office. We help students take care of several financial aid, registrar, and student billing transactions all at once and in one centralized location, including:

  • Explaining financial aid award letters
  • Assistance completing FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • Providing tuition bill breakdown
  • Enrolling in the semester monthly payment plan
  • Registering for classes
  • Assisting with pass/fail or withdrawal option
  • Generating verification of enrollment letter
  • Processing unofficial and official transcripts
  • Changing or adding a major and/or minor
  • And more!

  • Holds - Students should check WISER to view any holds.  Holds must be removed before you can register for upcoming Summer 2024/Fall 2024 classes.
  • Financial Aid for incoming Summer 2024 Admits - must complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA to be considered for financial aid. If you have already completed the 2023-2024 FAFSA, you should make a FAFSA correction to add UMass Boston’s school code: 002222.

With an iGrad membership, you will be able to learn more about a plethora of topics, including financial aid, scholarships, using credit cards, taxes, budgeting, and more.

We encourage you to set up your free account. You may log into iGrad using your UMass Boston credentials. 

The One Stop Gallery 

The One Stop Gallery wall is an opportunity for students to display their art for all of our visitors to enjoy. The opportunity is open to students in all majors and levels of experience. For your work to be considered, please complete the One Stop Gallery Submission Form. You may submit up to three pieces per form submission.
