Professor Brink’s interests are medieval history, especially the comparative legal history of western Europe through the early modern period, early ideas of nationalism, and gender and literacy. Professor Brink teaches courses on Western and World Civilization, Medieval Europe, Renaissance and Reformation, and occasionally the Enlightenment.
