New Students

New students begin the registration process after attending orientation please visit the New Student Programs page to sign up for orientation. You will meet with advisors and explore all the options available to you as a new student. 

Continuing Students

Registration for the upcoming semester starts in November for the spring and April for the fall semester. Students are assigned an enrollment start date based on the number of earned credits. You will receive an email about open enrollment, however, you can also view your enrollment date in WISER, by clicking on the enrollment date icon:

Open enrollment starts at 7:30am and ends at 11:59pm on the last day of add/drop.

Guest Students

Looking to take a graduate or undergraduate class without applying to a degree program? Please visit our Guest Student page for more information on dates and course availability.

• All new and continuing matriculated students should access their WISER accounts in order to register for courses.

• Noncredit/professional development/ course registration information can be found by searching the UMass Boston Online portal.
