Services
Classroom Technology and AV Services provides
- AV Design and Installation Consultation for university-wide AV installations in classrooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, and auditoriums.
- Repair and maintenance of the Technology Classrooms and Meeting Rooms on Campus. Please contact us if you have any issues with the equipment in TEC Classrooms.
- Provide AV Consultation services for video production and post production projects.
- Provides maintenance for the UMass Boston TV Digital Signage and CATV Systems.
AV Repairs
Classroom Technology and AV Services is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Technology Classrooms and Meeting Rooms on Campus. The department also provides maintenance for the UMass Boston TV Digital Signage and CATV Systems. Please contact us if you have any issues with the equipment in Technology Classrooms.
Duplications and Media Conversions
We provide conversion services for DVD and CD formats. We also provide file conversion for WMV, QuickTime, MP4, etc…Video Formats. All of the above services are provided on a fee basis for external clients.
Copyright permission required where applicable.
Streaming Media
We provide streaming media file conversion and hosting for Online Classes.
Production Services
Classroom Technology and AV Services provides Event Recording, Studio Recording, Field Recording, Video Editing and TV Studio Remote Feed Hosting on a fee basis for external clients.
Event Support
AV Services provides Event Recording, Live Video Streaming, Video Editing, YouTube File Creation and Posting and TV Studio Remote Feed Hosting on a fee basis for external clients.
Hybrid Learning and Meeting Support
We provide support for Zoom Meetings in our Presentation Rooms on the lower level of the Healey Library.
Live Streaming
Our department can provide “Live” Video Streaming services on a fee basis for external clients. Please contact us for more details.
