Community Engagement Modules
From 2012 to 2016, the Office of Community Partnerships and the Office of Faculty Development created and implemented the Community Engaged Scholars Initiative (CESI). The offices created several modules to support the professional development of faculty in community engaged teaching. The modules included guidance around theoretical frameworks on community engagement, logistical considerations, partnership development, student centered practices, outcomes and reflection.
