The posted range of housing costs reflect multiple occupancy living arrangements and single occupancy accommodations.
Food
Food costs can vary greatly depending on your preferences. Many off-campus apartments offer kitchens where students can cook their own meals. Graduate students may choose to purchase a commuter or full-time meal plan based on their preferences.
Transportation
On-Campus Parking: $550 / semester
MBTA Discounted Pass: Cost varies based on selected option
Students may purchase a semester-long parking pass. Additionally, graduate students can qualify for discounted public transportation (MBTA) passes to get to and from UMass Boston.
